3D Ankle scan
How to get a 3D scan for your EXO-L Ankle Brace
It will take a little effort for you to obtain your new 3D customised body part. The first thing to do is find a professional who can make a 3D scan of your ankle. We use this scan to 3D print the shell of your EXO-L so that it perfectly fits your ankle bones.
First option:
contact your physiotherapist/podiatrist/physician
The best option is to contact your physiotherapist/podiatrist/physician. They know your situation and possibly own a 3D scanner themselves. If not, they may be able to refer you to someone they partner with.
In our view, all specialised sports physiotherapists/podiatrists should have the equipment to make 3D scans, or partner up with someone who can. We offer physiotherapists/podiatrists/physicians a very accurate and reasonably priced 3D scan solution, so that they can help you and other patients.
Second option:
find a dedicated 3D scan facility
If your specialised sports physiotherapist/podiatrist/physician cannot help, you may want to visit a dedicated 3D scan location. There are likely to be locations in your region where you can get a 3D scan of your ankle. The number of suitable locations will grow over the next months/years. If you cannot find one in your region, we can help you. Hopefully 3D scanning with phones will become available in the near future.
